..freeze!

It's a strange winter. The snow hasn't showed up yet, but now it's very cold and everything is decorated with crystals. Very pretty, but the nature seems confused..

I also used a glue gun for this project. This can also be flower vase, but if you are intending to use it as a tealight holder I would recommend to use a jar with a wider neck cause this can get really hot.

A hot tip; If you need a lot of small jars, then ask someone with a baby. We end up with tons of them! At least I do..

My friend and I discovered a new way of decorating cupcakes this weekend (at least new to us..) After decorating several cupcakes with purple frosting, we used the same bag with white frosting, then we got this purple edges look! What do you think?

This girl is also the artist behind this genius poster! She is one of my classmates (I'm a photography student at the moment) and you should definitely check out more of her works at her blog!

I think everyone should take a look at this poster now and then..

In January my incredible friend Kristina threw me a baby shower, and she asked my friends to bring eighter a little piece of fabric or knit / chrochet a little square. I just received the result. I think it's so charming and my baby LOVES it! What a great idea, thank you Kish!

Today my husband and I are celebrating 5 years of marriage. That is nothing compared to my parents who celebrated 40 years this summer! We had a fun little photoshoot that day. Here are a few photos of some incredible people whom I love so much!

..my bedroom

Bed in one end of the room, office space in the other. I love my bureau with a traditional drop front - makes it so easy to hide my creative and not so creative mess..

..my vintage wall

We are working on selling our beloved appartment these days so I thought I would like to share some pictures of it before we're packing everything down.

Here is  a picture from the wall of our entry room:

Framed butterflies: My sweet friend Marie gave me this to me. She found it in Paris.
Plant: I simply love plants in jars! Also check out this post
Old picture: The little boy is my husbands grandfather.

Talking about old photos. I had a discusion with my brother today. We both like old photos, but he thinks it's more fun with photos of strangers, so that he can make up their stories. I like to know the story behind every picture and it should also be family members. What would you prefere?

..a gift wrapped week VI

Drop some drops of essential oil (e.g. lavender oil) on coconut fibers, put it in a favor bag and hang it on the gift with dried flowers. The recipient can later use it in a closet to give the clothes a nice smell.

..a gift wrapped week V

If you have a "boring" gift like money or a gift card, then this can be a sweet thing to do. Roll the gift inside a pretty paper and make sure the paper you use is long enough so it's not to hard to get it out! I speak out of experience..

..a gift wrapped week IV

Burlap, hemp and feather gives this gift a bohemian feeling. I like that feeling..

..a gift wrapped week III

Fragile, but it looks pretty neet to carry this to the party!

..a gift wrapped week II

Some people can't get enough of shoes, I can't get enough rubber stamps. Expensive to buy, but can last for a lifetime. Here I have used two stamps to decorate the plain gift paper. Sometimes I stamp "To:" and "From:" directly on the gift paper as well.

..a scoop of melon please

A good friend of mine with this awesome food blog gave me scooped watermelon the other day and I think the idea was fabulous! You will need a spoon like the one at the picture, press it in to the watermelon, then twist it.

Enjoy!
